Third Eye Chakra

What comes to mind when you hear the word “woods”? Strength? Wisdom? Insight? Woods, for vascular plants, are living tissue. Cellular matter that has observed the terrestrial world, down to the roots and celestial world, up to the leaves.

The third eye is the realm of the pineal gland, the eye. Clear seeing. This tiny gland in the middle of the brain, between the hemispheres, connects us with plants. Plants have the ability to sense light and respond, from blue to the far-red. They use this information just as we do. Blue, morning light (yang) wakes us through the pineal gland.
