Root energy is close to primordial space. Old but young at the same time, grounded in matter, muck, clay and mineral. It provides our root to the Earth, tapping into what does and doesn’t support us. Tapping into the vibration created by Earth’s molten core of Iron. Its energy is restful and spacious when supported with fundamental elements to a thriving life: love, nutrition, sound sleep, hygiene, the ability to “rest and digest”. The ability to create and manifest are supported by this wellspring as the root chakra is the umbilical cord to space, where beginnings are.

The root oils of aromatherapy may be very deep, supportive, nourishing (to the nerves) and provide space for settling in and holding energy down when it may be too high or scattered. They sink and slow down, reminding us to stop, pause and remember we are all from the same place.
