Heart Chakra

Is the heart a portal to the inner soul and outer spirit? Many believe so. The heart center is a receptor organ with its own nerves and hormones. It is a center with its own rhythms that we may live through and touch while connecting to our head-brain (central and peripheral nervous systems) and gut-brain (enteric nervous system). The heart is the integrator between the child-brain (instinct, enteric system) and analytical “adult” brain; it is a center of nuance, perception and feeling.

The flowers of aromatherapy have a way of deeply touching, of activating the heart chakra. To support and celebrate the masculine and feminine in all of us. The inherently ephemeral nature of flowers reminds us to celebrate the present, to live in the moment through perception and intuition and embrace the circle of life.
